Raimundo Santos
RaiSan Sings is a first-generation Angolan-American contemporary jazz vocalist and composer. RaiSan’s repertoire includes Arrangements from the American Songbook and his own compositions.
RaiSan Sings graduated from Temple University as a Jazz vocal major, He received his Master of Music in Jazz Studies degree from the University Of The Arts. He Travelled to Angola, Africa where he spent many years to connect with his roots.
Now in the USA.
RaiSan Sings can be seen performing with his trio regularly five nights weekly at an Eddie V's Restaurant in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Cherry Hill, NJ, Princeton, NJ, and Paramus, NJ.
He also does private and public events.
RaiSan’s vocals can be heard on three tracks in Monnette Sudler’s Album Stay Strong,
And in Tallulah’s Moon on Mike Boone’s Album Enjoying The View
Since returning to the United States RaiSan has also appeared at South Kitchen Restaurant and Jazz Club, He was also a finalist (top 14) in the CBS Mixtape Tape contest for the song "I Can See Clearly Now".
RaiSan Sings has Performed as a featured vocalist with Lynn Riley and the World Mix, and also occasionally as the featured vocalist with The Don Glanden Trio in Wilmington Delaware. In New York City,
He performed at Something Jazz Club and as a featured vocalist at Bar Thalia with the “Mimi Jones Trio”. He has Performed at the Venice Island Performing Arts Center in a Philadelphia jazz Project performance directed by Homer Jackson that was aired on the “Philly CAM” cable station.
RaiSan Sings has performed concerts for Leo Gadson’s Producer’s Guild.
